Introduction
to ADSL
If ADSL is new to you, read this intro.
What are you
paying now
via dialup?
If you are currently dialling the Internet using a standard modem, consider the total cost you are paying. For instance, if you are on a $25 plan with your ISP and connect to the Internet on average at least twice a day at 25c per call, then:
You are already paying over $40 per month for your dialup Internet usage .
Keep your
phone line free
ADSL frees up your phone line, by using a special splitter to run both phone and Internet at the same time. If you already have an extra line dedicated to the Internet, you can cancel it and save around an extra $25 per month on phone rental.
Broadband for
less than dial-up!

The good news is that you can probably get an ADSL broadband connection in your home or business and pay less (or about the same) as what you are already paying now.
Our rates start at $30 per month for an ADSL broadband Internet connection.
Beware of seemingly
cheap rates
Some major ISPs promote plans that may look attractive at first glance but could have you paying a fortune. Always check the cost of any excess data which is probably $150/GB (15c/MB), compared to our plans which are only $3/GB rate.
What’s so good
about ADSL?

Your ADSL Internet connection is permanently connected. You don’t have to dial up each time to use it. It keeps your phone line free to use for voice or fax etc, while you are still using the Internet. Broadband downloads at between 6 and 30 times your old modem speed.
What do I need?   ADSL uses your standard phone line, but via a splitter so that you can use your ordinary phone at the same time as high speed Internet. You need a computer to connect to the ADSL modem via Ethernet or USB.

Can I get ADSL?   Most phone lines (in populated areas) support ADSL. We can connect you if you live in NSW, Qld, Vic, SA, WA or NT. You can just fill out our application form and we'll check for you. If we can’t connect you, there’s no charge.
