DAVE is the first and only cross-platform networking solution of its kind. DAVE uses the fast, industry standard TCP/IP protocol instead of AppleTalk and is designed specifically for the Apple Macintosh. It is installed on the Macintosh and no additional hardware or software is required on the PC. PC to Macintosh
The interface is just like what you are used to seeing, whether you are a Macintosh user or a PC user. From the PC, users see the Macintosh files and printers in their familiar Network Neighborhood. The Macintosh looks like just another PC on your Microsoft network.

Macintosh to PC
Macintosh users can easily mount other users' shared directories, manipulating the files directly over the network. There's no need to download or copy files to the local drive! Just use mounted volumes as you normally would to share with Windows PCs and even other Macintosh systems running DAVE. And when you're ready to print, DAVE allows you access to shared printers that are part of a Microsoft network.
